Anemone hupehensis 'Hadspen Abundance'
One of the prettiest Japanese anemones. The abundance of lilac-purple flowers provide much-needed colour from August to October on wiry stems 60cm tall above semi-evergreen leaves. The flowers are unusual in that they have two smaller, darker petals and three larger, lighter coloured petals, making them appear two-toned.
This plant is best grown in well-cultivated, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
