Actaea simplex 'Atropurpurea'

A dramatic perennial with purple-brown foliage and spikes of fragrant white flowers up to 180cm tall from September to November. A great plant to add architectural height and late flowers, when other plants have finished flowering. A Caherhurley Nursery favourite.

Perfect for the back of a (semi-) shady border in a deep, rich, moist soil, but will tolerate full sun.
