Shipping information

Shipping is by An Post at a flat rate of €10 per box. A box holds up to 6 1L pots.

In spring 2023 we will send out the ordered boxes several times a week. This is to accommodate the high number of orders. Usually, after we confirm your order, we will dispatch within a few days. Occasionally orders which are composed of more than one box might be delivered separately on different days by An Post.

Most plants are provided in 1L pots, but sometimes in 0.5L pots, if they are not ready to be potted on yet.

To facilitate shipping, we might have to cut tall plants back a little in order to fit them in the box. This will not affect the health of the plant and they will bounce back quickly when planted.

Shipping is charged at €10 per multiples of 6 within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. We recommend purchasing plants in multiples of 6. This represents the best value, as shipping costs for single plants remain €10. We regret not being able to ship plants internationally.

We strongly believe in the excellent value of our plants. We also strive to offer the best possible rate for shipping, in this respect we cannot compete with certain major internet retailers. We believe that we offer the best value for money based on the quality of our plants and that an already heavily discounted shipping price of €10 is reasonable.

We will try to keep the online sales plant list up to date. Occasionally some plants on your order might be out of stock. In this case, we will contact you and refund you the amount paid for the particular plant.

At certain times of the year our plants are dormant and it might look like you received an empty pot. Be assured Gert has personally checked every plant to guarantee it will grow.

We do not remove the top layer of moss, to prevent loose compost spilling during shipping. When you receive your plants, please remove this layer carefully before planting.

We cannot guarantee delivery on a particular day or time.
