Astilbe 'Montgomery'
An upright perennial with a mound of divided, glossy green leaves which are tinged bronze-red in spring. The deep-red flowers are held in plumbes up to 60cm tall from July to August. When finished flowering, the flower-plumes turn a rich caramel colour. The flowers are good for cut flowers or for dried flowers.
