Primula florindae
A giant cowslip growing to 80cm. The many lemon-yellow flowers are held on tall, upright stems from June to July, above broad, oval leaves growing up to 20cm long. These long-lived and vigorous plants have plenty of nodding, fragrant yellow flowers which are slightly mealy (white powdery) on the inside.
A great plant for moist, humus-rich soil in partial shade. They look great along a pond or stream edge, as well as in bog gardens.
